As a creative fashion house specializing in modern and elegant garments, we are currently seeking a qualified Tailor / Seamstress (Seamster) to help bring our upcoming Summer Collection to life.

Position

Tailor / Seamstress (Seamster)

• Employment Type: Full-time or Contract

• Location: Winnipeg (in-studio or remote depending on skill level)

• Availability: Immediate

​

Key Responsibilities

• Design and construct garments for the Summer Collection.

• Perform cutting, assembling, alterations, and finishing according to Fa Allure’s quality standards.

• Read and interpret technical patterns.

• Participate in fittings and adjustments.

• Suggest technical improvements or alternatives to enhance designs.

• Meet established production deadlines.

Required Profile

• Proven experience in tailoring, dressmaking, or fashion design (minimum 2 years preferred).

• Strong knowledge of industrial sewing machines and modern garment construction techniques.

• Ability to work with precision, creativity, and independence.

• Strong attention to detail and passion for fashion.

• Familiarity with lightweight and summer fabrics (linen, cotton, silk, lightweight wax, bazin, etc.).

Additional Assets

• Pattern-making skills.

• Experience in ready-to-wear or haute couture.

• Strong artistic sense.
